Just noticed that EEUG released his Plan B loader on the SMS homepage.

    See:
    http://home.casema.nl/eugene_plotnikov/PlanB.htm

Plan "B" is a technique of booting SMS software on unmodified (=out of the box) consoles. It does not provide a way to boot other applications or play backups. Using this technique on modified consoles does not really make any sense.
Download can be found here: http://home.casema.nl/eugene_plotnikov/SMSINSTALL.ELF

Is there any point now we can use freeMCboot without needing the DVDplayerdisk

I'm grateful for everything EEUG has done, but i think he held onto his project too long and missed the boat here.

If it was easy to install, needed no prerequisites then i could have seen everyone wanting a piece of it, now it just seems too little too late unfortunately..
