nero 6 DVD-Video reject vids?

i know the manual is for nero 5, but i have nero 6 and i tried to follow the steps of burning so that SMS can read DVD. i had no trouble up til when i started to put in avi videos i want to burn with. nero blocked it off.

anyone has same problem? or there is an reason?

Dont know about version 6, but version 7 works fine. Where are u trying to add the .avi files? If you're trying to add them to the VIDEO_TS folder it's normal that Nero blocks them, u need to create a new folder on the DVD's root named whatever u want and put your videos in there (one or more folders).

:-/ i tried put it as folder and it wouldnt make folder and then i tried to make folder from the burner nothing happened? does express nero make a big different? i hope not tho!

try normal nero. also, you can't put files into video_ts or audio_ts folders.

just use DATA DVD with Audio TS and VIDEO TS folders from DVDMini..

there is no Audio TS in DVDMini...i only found Video TS folder?
but, anyway, i tried doing Data DVD, it didnt work. sad to say...

just burn a dvd like you normal do , but put your avi in Audio.TS folder
i have also nero 6 and this is how i do it

or do this,
-make a file with notepad(open notepad and just typ something stupid)
save it and then rename it to VIDEO_TS.VOB
-now open nero 6, in nero smart go to Burn DVD-Video files
-now put your homemade VIDEO_TS.VOB in the VIDEO_TS folder
-next put your media files in AUDIO_TS folder
-Burn it.

just wanted you guys to know that i gave up and went out and brought nero 7 and it worked flawlessly and great!

i think the version i had were limited version since it were bundled with my new DL burner i got few months back. but it was sure worth it
