@wannaknow: all stuff is loaded from mc0:/SMS folder. My opinion is that it's most universal way (=it will work always) to load the stuff from external source. There's a source code available (well, no yet for 1.7 Rev.6, but I'll submit it soon), so, anyone can customize SMS at his (her) will...
thanks Eeug! i got it worked the skin! copied the skin with
unofficial LaunchELF to my memorcard! in the sms folder and loading perfectly!
i got one more question: my friend of mine, got that bigg ps2!(he dont got modchip or fliptop) and he wanted watch divx on his ps2. and he is loading the SMS with the usb and mine swap magic cd version! we tried that dvd dummy thing!
burn a dvd with nero and put the divx file in it togheter with the dummy in the right folder!
and we got it worked. first load the SMS player with swap magic. then he eject and put the DVD with the divx file in. it all loads, but he get blanco screen?!
does that mean he cant watch divx like that? or are we doing something wrong?
@wannaknow: ...well, I know nothing about "swapping" trick, but I suspect that it disables disk change notification. In this case SMS won't work indeed since that notofication tells that a disk has been changed and at that point disk type is determined and appropriate filesystem driver is selected (DVD-Video disks have some kind of UDF which is quite different from one on the "swap" disk). Again, it's just a suggestion, I'm not 100% sure...
