    I've just succeeded to connect my DNS-323 after finding information on the samba problem on this forum.

    Apparently SMS can play VOB files but doesn't classify them as media files as when i filter only media files they dissaper, perhaps a bugg ;-)

    my next problem regards DVD ISO

    in the readme file it states

    Update (26-AUG-2005)
    --------------------
    - Ronald Andersson (AKA: dlanor) has added network (host) support
    (thanks and regards to him):
    - ISO CD/DVD support added (thanks to 'Mr. Worm~~' for real help in testing);

    As all the kids movies are on the NAS in ISO I got really happy as they now can use the PS2 instead of the TViX to look at there movies, but i can neither play the ISO files nor a DVD directory what am i doing wrong?

    I'm afraid there is no support for loading ISO image files from network or USB with SMS.

    - ISO CD/DVD support added (thanks to 'Mr. Worm~~' for real help in testing);
    That means SMS supports physical CD/DVD discs burned in ISO data mode (as oppposed to UDF mode).

    There no support for DVD directories, (.ifo index files).
    SMS can only play individual .VOB files.

    Personally I use DVDdecrypter to copy DVD movies to my hard drive. In IFO mode with the 'file splitting' set to 'none' I can save an entire movie as a single .vob file which SMS can play over the network.
