Having Network Problems

I followed the faq to get SMS on my memory card and got the latest radhost but it just doesnt seem to work. I mean it works for a bit, like when i start a mp3, it will work for a bit an then my ps2 freezes and radhost says "disconnected". With movies, it gets to buffering and freezes ps2 an disconnects on radhost. I got a music video running once to 50% but then it cut out. It even freezes and disconnects when i try to stop a mp3. Could someone help me fix this please?

Is your network cable broken? I've experenced likewise faults some time ago, and my problem was that the network cable wasn't functioning for 100%. I noticed this only when I played a game trough LAN, and a pictogram showed up, showing me that the network wasn't stable cause of a broken cable. So I just had to replaced it and everything worked 100% again

Same thing happened to me. What worked for me was to start SMS first, ping my ps2 several times, then start radhost.
