Stay far far far away from the Dlink DI-524. Cheap, but a total piece of crap that constantly hangs and reboots. Regardless of what you choose, read reviews for whatever router you are considering!

oops, sorry then, Yesterday i just configured a D-link-524!

apart from the crappy interface, it worked quite well.

    Hi Broodje --

I hope you have better luck with yours than I did. I actually bought it for a neighbor of mine that wanted a cheap router because the price was so low. It keeps rebooting itself and locks up completely where you have to power off from time to time. The explanation I've seen on other sites points to overheating problems.

    I have a DI-614+ that's worked fine for over a year...

    Linksys WRT54G

Best router on the market. Runs linux based firmware which means endless possibilities for customization and configuration. With some custom firmware you can do all sorts of cool things you wouldn't even be able to consider on another router.

Do you think this will work? Netgear WGR614 54Mbit/s 802.11b/g, or is it to slow 54Mbit? I have tryed a cross cabel and it works perfect, but want to now if this router works fast and good to? or will it hangs or freeze or be to slow?
    Thanks for your helps :C)

You mean the WRT54GL , the WRT54G (v5) is no longer linux based, its been replaced with the 54GL (hence the L)
