Hi, pretty new here and recently tried out SMS. I played a few epispodes of avi videos with xvid coding and I can't seem to fast forward. I have v1.7 ( i think ) and some of the files you CAN fast forward with no problems, but some on the other hand just end the video. Each video is approx. 20 mins long. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The ones u cant FFWD probably have bad indices information on them (u can check this when starting the video in SMS, if the indices info is bad the indices load real quick at movie startup). Just run them on VirtualDub with 'Direct Stream Copy' and they'll be fixed.

There's also a handy little program called DivFix that will attempt to rewrite the indices for you.
