DVD's ISO's

Hi there,

First of all thank you for creating such a great program! Using your own PC by only using the local network and one little program is a great idea, and it works! I do have one question though.

As I readed through the forums here I saw that SMS supported .iso, "great!" I thougd, now I can creat .iso of all my DVD's, put them on my computer and watch them on my PS2/TV. But when trying to load an iso it says that it's an unsuported file format. Is the .iso feature something that comes in a later version of SMS or doesn't it work with DVD movies?

Old PS2 with SMS version 1.6 (Rev.1)

First of all, SMS doesn't support and has never supported .iso files, where did u read that?! Maybe u're refering to the ISO's created to boot SMS... it's different...
Second of all, SMS doesn't play DVD's. But the PS2 plays them, so u shouldn't have problems with burning them as normal DVD-Videos and playing them on the PS2 without any other software/hardware.

Now, if u really want to create ISO's with DivX/XviD files inside u can play them through network, just need to mount the ISO using Daemon Tools and share the Virtual Drive with RadHostCLient or ps2client. I'm not gonna go much deeper on this cause this would be just dumb, since u can play the movie files trough network anyway.

My apoligies then, I think I got confused with making it work on a DVD or CD together with making it an ISO. Sorry for that.

I know it can play DivX and XviD, but converting all those movies here to XviD or DivX is going to take a verry long time.

So this aint gone work, to bad...

U don't have to sorry, mistakes happen :)

Anyway, u don't have to convert all your DVD's to DivX, maybe it is easier to burn them and watch them on the PS2 as 'normal' DVD's...
