Dvd-rw?

Hi there,

I have burnt some avis to a DVD-RW in hoep that it would play on the SMS media player, i keep getting a message down the bottom saying, illegeal media.

I have a chipped console, i am wondering if there is any way to get this working??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Some Dvd-writter support bitsetting of dvr +rw to dvd -rom
Else bitset dvd +r to dvd-rom..It will solve the issue...

You don't need a new modechip..

if it says illegal disk...
then dont put the disc in the drive after the ps2 is booted..

first put ur data disc in the drive..
power off the ps2
power on again and boot SMS from dev1 or uLE or soemthing..(you must not eject the drive after turning on the ps2 or it will say illegal disk)
then the disc should read in SMS..

if u change discs it will say illegal disk.
you must put in the new disc and power off and on the ps2 again to make i read.
