SMS can play default DivX/XViD AVI files up to DVD resolutions as far as I know (at least, I can play them).
HD resolutions aren't support I think because the lack of CPU power.

Maybe you have broken files or some with a currupt index informations.

I'm not available for FMCB installation service until I can guarantee a processing time of a few days again, sorry.

    I don't know if it's in a HD resolution...
The files are working fine in my laptop... I don't think the files are broken...

any way... I'll try to convert it to older avi files with virtualdub and try again...

    Regards...

merged your threads since they deal with sms and are almost identical.

The first post is about avi resolution...
The second one is about saving configs...

    I think it's a bit diferent...

but doesn't matter... I don't need to fight about little things... If U think it's better to have both in same post let it be...

by the way... tks I was looking in the forum about lots of things (codebreaker, modchips, etc.) and it's very good to see that the forum "HAVE" the moderators...

    Regards to everyone...

    PS.:
My english is very bad isn't it?
    Sorry, I just speeak portuguese...

The issues are slightly different, but since they apply to the same application it is still sensible to deal with both in the same thread context.

As for the absolute resolution limit, I think that is 1024 pixels horizontal width.

And saving configs can only be done to a PS2 memory card, regardless of what device you are using for the media files.

So if you are trying to use SMS with no memory cards connected, then settings can not be saved at all.

    Best regards: dlanor
