I've been using the Super (C) program to convert my non-avi and other problematic video files into the following format:

avi, divx, mp3, mencoder
video: 29.97 fps, 1536 kbps, hi quality
audio: 44.1k, 2 channels, 128 kbps

This however does not work for all of my video files. I especially have problems with converting WMV and MOV files. They either play too fast or the audio isn't in sync with the video.

So my question is, should I be using a better program than Super (C)? Or am I not using the ideal conversion settings?

I realize some of those settings may be overkill...but this way I can do batch conversions. I'm too lazy to change the settings on a file by file basis...

Thanks!
