    Thank you, thank you, thank you! I always hated watching AVIs on my monitor, and now on my ps2, it's very nice.

    Keep up the great work EEUG

    Edit: I always spell your name wrong...

    ...well, it's a long story of 'EEUG' to be discussed somewhere in the pub . Anyway, it's just like a hobby for me, so I thought that it could be also interesting for others. Thank you too ...

    ive never really tried sms. i figured id give it ago after downgraded my chip firmware to make the ps2 work (another story).

    to my suprise SMS has become a fully fledged media player with GUI.

    stefy2, host support really kicks ass. really. both in LaunchELF and in SMS. very fast speed and with no data corruption errors! *points at ps2ftpd*. and the "listen". Something inside me tingles when i see D:\pub appear on the ps2 screen instantaneously.

    EEUG, the player core and GUI really kick ass. it decoded (almost) every divx/xvid movie i threw at it. the GUI (not sure who coded it) is great. i love the way it detects the available media, and how it draws the SMS logo in the background.

    over all i would say SMS is a beautifully coded, functional piece of software. quality. No balls or stupid mod music in the background, just quick, functional and clean. This is how all software should be, and SMS certainly lives up to this expectation.

    For thoes who are reading this, say goodbye to ps2reality media player (finally!) and switch to SMS, its well worth the effort. No more to I have to embarass my self when friends come over to watch movies on my "look! that guy modded his ps2 himself and it can do all these cool things", only for them to be dissapointed when the movie skips, jitters and/or doesnt work at all. I certainly know what xianaix (?) said when commenting on the release of PS2R media player Pro - "its too late... ". Its just too late to release HDD support when the community has developed a beautiful peiece of free, open software in the mean time.

    The future? SMS - Simple Media System. Expand the program to read text and pictures.

    Unfortunatly all i can give is thanks. Maybe in the future I may be able to help in a different way. For now, a big thankyou from hypersonic goes out to all who helped SMS become what it is today.

    @all
    Preventing a snowball effect, I suggest not to criticize others work here in this forum, that won't contribute at all. Personally, I respect others and their work too...So it is better to concentrate in how SMS could grow!!!
    Pd: pls don't answer me
    Best Regards, Mr. Worm~~
