(How to make a PS2 bootable CD with SMS and Movie?

Here is attached a buildCD.rar file that contains CDgenPS2 and SYSTEM.CNF.
That tool is for making PS2 CD images bin/cue, that can be recorded later using any softaware like NERO, and asume that you have SMS.ELF, in case you dont, donwload it from here (last version):

and rename SMS.elf to SMS.ELF.
Then put in any folder SYSTEM.CNF / SMS.ELF / MOVIE(S), open CDgenPS2 and using explorer drag'n drop all this files and click in IMG icon and save image the record the CD and enjoy!)

(can i make one boot CD without movie and
just swap with any avi movie i want?

i try it with ps2reality and it worked although
some says that swap method doesnt work with certain
modchip.

well, ps2 reality works perfectly for me, but i just
want to see how SMS doing since most peolpe says
it much stable than ps2reality.

Whenever I go to burn the BIN/CUE in Nero I get burn failed at 4x. I've tried different speeds and keep getting the same result.

I am correct in saying all you need is SYSTEM.CNF and SMS.ELF in the root directory of cdgenps2 ?

The total file size is less than 1Mb. Am currently trying to stick a movie on it as well - see if that makes a difference. Has anyone else managed to burn this with Nero ? (Have x-key modchip, no HDD, no N/W adaptor)

Just tried it with a movie on as well and it works perfect
Will let you swap with other movies as well.

Say it was a problem with Nero not being able to burn such a small file ...

I Have Burnt 2 Cds With System.cfg And Sms.elf , One With System.cfg Lba At 12231 , The Other As It Is, Burnt With Nero Mode 2, Disc At Once 4x.
When I Put The Cds In The Ps2 It Says Ps2 Disc No Data.
I Was Able To Do Ps2 Cds.....i Have Working Mame And Playstation Reality Player, Why Sms Does`t Boot???
Any Idea?

First of all, u gotta make sure the System.cfg file is pointing to the SMS.elf file. Second and maybe easier, try getting the bootable SMS CD posted here on the forum sometime ago and see if that one works...
