Afaik, there is only 1PAL-Mode.
I never heard of a modified version and PAL60 isn't a real PAL (well, there is an extended TV-Standard called "PALplus").
Resolution: 625Lines ("720*576"Pixel) @exact 25fps@50Hz
I know a few different "NTSCs", while this should be the standard:
Resolution: 525Lines ("720*480"Pixel) @ 29,97fps (color)/30fps (black and white)@59,94/60Hz.
486Lines visible, 480Lines used mostly.
Rest is for sync-, Picture-Reconstruction, subtitles,...
There are also some NTSC-"Standards". like with 24fps, or something around 23.9fps (because movies in cinema have 24fps.).
But I doesn't uses this by myself, so I couldn't tell ya.
Btw.: Most PAL-TVs, which are capable of running in 60Hz, also can show NTSC (sometimes with color).
So we have a few TVs, that support both standards.
Btw.2.: I think, we're getting too off-topic.
