> "That "remote editing" doesn't work with CD/DVD and HDD"
I know, the thing is, I (for now) run it from a memory card, and even more importantly, it just tried it with Firefox 2, and it works excellent! I tried again using Opera 9 and IE 7, but it does not work... Some incompatibilities there perhaps?
> But I'm planning to make it possible to reference another config file (and that will also make it possible to run it from HD Loader).
> Sounds nice, my only gripe is that it's not standardized, but it will really solve the problem with missing video thumbnails (cause extracting them from video files would be too slow, and fetching them from IMDB isn't unambiguous). So, I'll test that.
Yeah, I think jpeg thumbnails is a better option than those two you mention (especially extracting from the file itself, that just results in a black thumbnail waaaay to often to be worth it) But, the thing I think is the biggest advantage would be to not have to scroll through (like) loads of "s03e14" to find some movie I want to see =)
> That's by design. I personally think that the icon is almost too much bloat...
You're the boss, it wont stop me from getting the next version the second its ready! =)
(Btw sorry if my english is hard to understand sometimes)
samba config –
i canĀ“t get samba work, i use windows xp sp2 with no password.
On SMS i have no problems as the samba login is "relaxed" no user name or password.
Perhaps in argon the password is a must, and cannot be left empty?
please confirm, thank you.
Yes, it's required.
internet radio now works very fine. I've no problems connecting to any station anymore (100%). I don't know what You've changed, but it was the right thing.
Maybe it would be possible to show the artist and songtitle while playing internet radio. This would be be very nice.
Ok, I'm trying to set it up so i can play files from my computer.
I'm using rad host client and it says it connects when i start argon.
I've tried using these codes, none worked.
that didn't work
also I've tried using //host as a folder path, and host:/test/ (the folder I'm sharing with rad host client
I'm totally clueless
I get an error "unable to load usbhdfsd.irx" even though I have put the renamed Napalm irx file in the ARGON directory on mc0
I have a slimline PS2 with no hard drives attached
the host fonktion hast been removed. instead theres SAMBA support.
read the xml, nearly the top you habe do enter the IP, the name of your PC, your User Name and pass for your windows. A few lines down you have to enter the path for the folders you want to acess. After editing the .xml you can acess the shared folders of your PC. heres a part of my xml, it might help you
@emsef: you have to put the whole content (ecept the readme) in an folder of your mc. (including the .pak file) i thing the driver you need should be in there.
There is NO host: support anymore.
That CIFS/SMB/Samba is Windows native file sharing. There is no need for no RadHostClient or anything.
There is no need (and no support) for external USB drivers, just make sure that Resources.pak is in the same folder (the driver is there).
Everything is on the folder, but I still get the error?
are filenames case sensitive?
> are filenames case sensitive?
No idea , but check that, also make sure that the file is not corrupted. Btw., what are you using to launch it?
