0.3.7 is a big mess for me.

Internet radio = crash (no sound output, no way to get back)
Weather forecast = crash (after selecting a place, locks up immediately)
Video settings = crash (changing usb autostart etc.)

Going back to 0.3.5

the radio worked ok for me in my latest revision, so wondering if you had a custom station, and when you say crashed did you get a white screen with an EE Exception, black screen frozen or something else?

weather - will look into did not test it (but also did not change anything so idk whats up)

video settings - i changed with the settings a little bit so i'll look into it

thanks for the bug report...its usually the only way i find out about bugs because i do not do very much testing before release, 0.3.8 should be out later on with some additions and the bug fixes

Yes, I did use custom stations - but those were working fine in 0.3.5. I will go into detail about the crashes:

Radio -> I select a station from the favorites, it opens the station (new screen) and should initiate playback, but it doesn't (no sound). Normally I can press O to get back... doesn't work either. I can still turn off the analog light on my controller though, so the PS2 itself didn't crash.

Weather -> Just the default places (don't use this feature myself). When I select Moscow it hangs, right there. No new screen that gets opened.. nothing.. as soon as I select it (X) it freezes.

Video settings -> I could disable HDD, but the rest seemed to cause freezing similar to the freezes with the weather forecast.

I also noticed 0.3.7 takes a little longer to boot in comparison to 0.3.5. I am using PAL myself.. and in 0.3.7, just before showing the menu, there is visual distortion for about one second. This wasn't present in 0.3.5.... I also get the feeling the HDD support might be the root cause of these problems (don't have a HDD in my PS2...). Don't take these pointers as a complaint, just trying to help. Love Argon so far

the visual distortion was that i changed the code to ntsc (i have ntsc) and forgot to change it back to pal

i'll take a look at the other stuff though and publish a release within the next 24 hours most likely

Don't worry about the icons dude. I arranged to sort them out with user112 a while back but had some family troubles which delayed everything.
I have been working on them recently and have finished 20 of them (including some ideas for sub-folders etc) and only have 4-5 left to make.

menu shows up and I press the ulaunchelf button to go back and it freezes, i havent tried movies or music as I cant figure out how to get the program to make them show up in the xml file

ya idk if going back to ule works yet (i have not tried it yet, thats more user112)

to get media to show up you have to add drives to the categories

like if you had music on the hard drive you would do

</movies>

samba use

<folder>smb1:</folder>

usb/mass

<folder>mass:</folder>

host

<folder>host:</folder>

and set the network type as either SMB or HOST under the network settings

can I get a sneek peek? I'm curious is all. , I'm still uselesson the testing as I have a virgin ps2 (un modded)

there seems to be a problem with some of the drivers that are used by Argon so the

when loaded from mass and using EEUG network drivers tcpip/smap/smb, tcpip packets get corrupt (because of ps2ips i think thats what user112 said), so stuff skips when using smb:, internet radio has "bleeps" and the weather shows up garbage data

but when using normal ps2ip/ps2smap the network side of things like internet work fine, however, smb does not work

im going to have to look into things more, in order to straighten out all the bugs
