but in order to perform actions on the hard drive you have to mount a partion, and partion names are from pfs0: to pfs9:
i'll run that code and see how it runs
It'll freeze certainly, somewhere in fioDread().
And may you check what is the main's argv when launched from HDD ?
i did the fileXioDread on the hdd0:, and it read all the dirs no problem
after how many is it suppose to freeze? i had it read about 20 dirs
i could not get it to work over host, but i'll try it again because i have a whole lot more than 20 dirs on my c:\ drive
edit: i fixed the host: part, and its been reading a lot of directories with no freezing so idk whats up
So it read the whole c: drive with no freezing? That's strange, cause it's been freezing on me all around. And there have been other users complaining about freezes. What have you been using on the PC side? Can you upload the source?
> pretty weird how it says host:example.elf for launched from the hdd
Well, and pretty bad too. Cause there would be no way to determine the need to load all these HDD modules.
The only solution that I see currently is to make some loader that will pass the right argv.
I'll upload the ELF Loader, so you may add HDD support to it, to use it for launching Argon off the HDD.
it did not read the whole c:\ drive because i stopped it after like 5 minutes
i used ps2client 2.0 on the pc side to load the elf
i'll take a look at how ULE loads the elf from the hard drive, maybe there's a flag or something
edit: i noticed for myPS2 you had to specify the hard drive partition if you wanted to load myPS2 from the hdd
sorry.im new here.i manage to load argon with mass storage support.i can see the files (movie) but when i pressed [X] nothing happen...errr.do i miss something?
Does anyone know any good internet radio XML listing? Cause these 200+ categories at shoutcast.com must be some bad joke.
I've had of this stuff. The last time I checked, the fioDread stuff had lots of freezes, but it's working now (you've been testing that with ps2link's or LaunchELF's IRXs actually, but it seems to work fine with SMS's too).
I even had to read these directory entries in one loop and open them in another because the inner fioDclose() made the outer fioDread() forget where it has been.
The only explanation I can find is that EEUG has updated filexio or iomanx in some version.
I've uploaded ELF Loader to trunk, so just use it to pass the right argv to Argon.
Btw., have you got that dns.irx's gethostbyname() working?
People! If you have problems – be more descriptive.
I really have no idea. Try to play that in SMS to check if the video format is supported. What it does – fades out and back or fades out and never returns back or does nothing or freezes?
1st time i used
all works fine except, nothing happen if i select the file.. but later i edit the xml to
and now it works just fine...
