    I'm running sms version 2.8 rev5.

The usb drive is visible to freemcboot as thats how I got SMS on to my memory card but it does seem to find the usb pen drive in sms.

SMS see the hard drive in my ps2 not the usb drive. What am I doing wrong?

Possibly you just forgot to enable the use of USB devices in the SMS device settings.
This is not enabled by default.

If this doesn't work, try updating to the recent 2.9 version.
    Slim PS2 SCPH-70004 (v13) w/ FMCB, 3x Sony 8MB, 1x MaxMemory 16MB (Backup card)

I'm not available for FMCB installation service until I can guarantee a processing time of a few days again, sorry.

All SMS settings are accessed in the settings menus, opened by pressing the 'Start' button while in the main file browser screen of SMS. Then you move the highlight to "Device settings..." (or whatever) and press X to open that submenu, and so on and so forth...

You'll need to set the "Autostart USB" option, and then back out one step (pressing 'Triangle') and use the command "Save settings". This way SMS will start up the USB interface every time you launch the program. The "Device settings..." menu should also have a command for directly starting the interface in the current session, but that's only present if you have NOT enabled the autostart (which I naturally always have).

    Best regards: dlanor

So does the DVD remote work with sms?

Doesnt your remote have the controller buttons on it?

If yes, the sure it should work just as the controller does for those buttons.

    Hello

Its the standard sony ps2 remote, seems to work in the selection menu but not in the sms menu.

    Is it a configeration issue?
