I have the same problem with some USB sticks (perfectly functional in any Application except latest SMS)
I have tried putting USB drivers from the SMS webpage onto the MC, but that didn't work either.
It does however work for me with Version 1.8 of SMS that I got off maxconsole. http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=down...categoryid=132
As Slider2K had success with SMS up to version 2.5, I will try that version later on. http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=81461
For now what I do is I is I create a /BOOT directory on the USB sticks that don't work and put the old version of SMS (renamed to SMS.ELF) in there. FreeBoot is by default configured to look there for the SMS.ELF first, so it will conveniently launch that version if you have the USB Stick plugged in.

Having the same problem loading OCZ Rally 2 32Gb.
ULE is fully functional with the device, and am able to boot elfs from it.
SMS sees the device but no media is shown in all versions after 2.6 including 2.6 revision 1.
Upto and including version 2.6 everything seems fine. all media is shown Videos play fine as do MP3s although i have noticed a slight delay when changing tracks in the audio player.
Another odd thing I've noticed is that in all the versions that work with the 32Gb stick (2.6 and below) my modified skin image is garbled in the background but when you set SMS to no background it shows the default background fine with no artifacts.
Version 2.9 will read my Verbatim 1gb stick fine and when i put them both in I can switch between them but the Rally 2 shows no media in the most current version.
Just wondering if some internal drivers were changed in version 2.6 rev 1?

Just to update you guys.
Have got version 2.9 revision 1 working with my 32Gb stick now using the old USB drivers placed in the 'SMS' Directory on the Memory card as mentioned by urbigbro thanks bud.
Also the background image works with this version and the delay on MP3s has gone as well.
It seems to me if ulaunch elf will read the device then it is compatable with the PS2.
Finally if anyone is making a compatability list: OCZ Rally 2 32Gb formatted to Fat 32 is definatley compatable.
