Anyone have a copy of SMS 1.8 rev. 2 that supports both 480p and 16:9 Widescreen? I know bigfire made an older version with widescreen support, but that one doesn't have 480p. Thanks.

I simply don't understand. The REV2 Already has a progressive scan mode. Progressive Scan's Resolutions are Widescreen. 832x480 pixels i guess in 480p.
The only 480p setting that looks close to right on my 16:9 HDTV is Fullscreen, and even then the picture is stretched vertically a bit. I tried to compile a version of 1.8 rev. 2 with some of the source code from bigfire's 16:9 version. There's a widescreen setting that looks right now, but it somehow got labeled "right" in the menu. The menu for selecting NTSC, PAL, VESA, 480p, etc. is also all messed up. I can't seem to attach/include the link to the forum because I don't have more than 15 posts. I'd be happy to provide the download link to anyone who'd like to help. This is the first time I've tried compiling or editing anything like this, so I'm hoping someone with better programming skills could get this working properly.
@ps2oldschool: ...I can help you out with source code (or I can integrate your changes into the next version of SMS)...
Please do. 16:9 support would be greatly appreciated. I have also used the fullscreen setting, and though it is mostly okay, some videos just don't look right.
...yes, I've got the source code of 16:9. I've made a lot of changes in data packet management routines in preparation for mpeg1/2, so, I'll probably release 1.8 (Rev. 3) without mpeg1/2 support in order to test my changes first with .avi. And I'll also try to put 16:9 there. Good news for networking performance: I've optimized network driver further, so transfer speed is reached ~860KB/s while transferring file from host to hdd (+~25% thus). I have virtually no time for SMS these days, so, no time estimations about future releases...
