what is this? odd solder point on v9 console –
I bought a v9 console off ebay the other day for my younger brother and was going to install a Matrix Infinity chip for him when I found it already had a Messiah 750 chip installed along with the Romeo laser fix and then on the back of the console I found an odd solder point that is going from a resistor (?) to ground (picture attached) . I've removed the Messiah chip as it didn't seem to be working and am going to install the Infinity but was hoping someone could help me identify what this odd solder is?
I have a v9 console myself with MI & Romeo, but I never did this and my console has been working fine for the past 2 years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That is the pal-ntsc fix . You have to do this with some chips so they will play ntsc games in color.(If you don't do it they will play in B/W) .
You wont need it with the matrix chip.
ahh ok, that would explain it then. thank you
