Have some strange readings on the coils on a v9. For coil #1 it measures 6.0ohm and coil #2 have 3.4ohm (refering to coil#1 as the one closest to the LA).
Was going to replace the laser as it had reading problems with movies and games. Did Romeo mod while I was at it. But then discovered that the "new" laser had bridges on some of the legs to the ribbonconnector

Switched back to the old one and now it doesnt read anything. Putting a DVD in the drive the drive starts spinning like crazy.

What can be wrong here? Any help appreciated! Thanks
