Hey guys, i replaced my la chip on my v9 and it acts very funny. When I put in a ps2 dvd, it loads it to when it says Playstation 2, but then it doesnt do anything after. I tried my network installation disc and it doesnt load at all. Should I purchase an original sanyo la chip or maybe the RII revision or is there a different remedy? Thanks guys.
P.S.- this is unchipped and the laser is HD7. Thanks.

i always use the orignals - tried the RII once - it was crap. have you done the standard things like check all the fuses and look for solder bridges - especially around the areas where you soldered
