v4/5/6 to v9

I just recieved a SCPH 30001 R with a bad disc drive for next to nothing. I was wondering if any of the parts were interchangeable with my v9 (motherboard, especially), or if I'd be better off haulking it on ebay.

v5,6,7 boards are not compatible with the v9 because they have a other layout

but you could exchange the laser if they are the same if not you can reprogram it with the lenschanger program
