ok I installed my matrix and my fix at once.
Plugged the power nothing happed, the power button wasn't red.
Opened to discover that I forgot to attach power and GND on the matrix
    Soldered the 2 wires
Test, nothing happened like last time.
Then I remove the power and GND on slimfix and I shorted the L1, L2
Test, Power button is red and comes green when I press on it.

I didn't plug it to my tv and I let it on for few seconds.

    Is the slimfix dead ?
if no, What can I do for this ?

    Thank you

You may have blown a fuse. Use your multimeter and check the fuses.

If all the fuses are good then double check your install using the multimeter.

Finally, if it still doesn't work remove your chips and test the console, and if it works then re-solder everything.

Keep the Slimfix, but check ALL connections. The slightest bit of exposed wire could be shorting out.

Reviving my forgotten problem, still have issue with comsoft V4 and V12 that won't even go to standby mode with the fix.
But without it, it powers up fine

    Thank you for the replies

I beleve Spedmetal or some one else gave an excelent answer to this exact problem some one else was having. It's here in the modchip section somewhere, you'd have to search for it. But it basicly stated that if you have an already weak laser when installing the slim fix such as comsoft, that it for some reason keeps the pstwo turned off, due to the already existing problem of the laser.

My ps2 was working fine before I started to mod it.

So how do I fix my problem ? remove the laser fix and burn the laser ?
