v12 laser help, Thx in advance :-)

hey whats up
i have a v12 with a MI with stock firmware
i installed the diode fix (neoiii fix) , which jus kept makin it reboot, even after i unbridged TB (test bridge)
so i took out the fix and it was ok boots with MI screen.
now my problem is it wont read anything no originals, dvd's or the firmware upgrade cd.
GTA:SA spins then stops spins stops ect ect with the laser working, dvd's do the same
the firmware cd has no laser and will spin like 1/2 a turn at a time.
since the MI & Fix has been installed the laser has not read anything so i dont think its burnt.
any ideas?

UPDATE:
desolder the MI
still same results
wont read dvd's or cd's
cleaned all points
laser worked fine b4???????

trackin and coils were read in at zero OHMs
what does this mean?

UPDATE:
Fixed the problem
2 tracking resistor were fried replaced them and worked like a charm.
