Got a v12 ps2 here with an spu 3107, just ran lens changer to change the laser to a pvr 802 as I had 5 brand new ones sat here.

Switched off, changed laser, its reading piss poor - nothing will boot, so I tried 3 seperate lasers - all new and all same problem.

I doubt all the lasers are knackered, but what do you guys reckon?

I thought there was no need to use lenschanger on a slimline, I was told you can do a straight swop from 3170 to 802 ???

slimline 802 aka KHM-430 and KHS-430 dont need a plash. But im sure SPU to the other 2 does need one.
