That won't work because the USB HUBs are designed in a way that makes them fall back to USB 1.1 speed if it detects conection to a USB1.1 port.Originally Posted by cletus_the_Red

lol yea i agree. It would be nice if you could use the logitec usb controllers that look like ps2 controllers that are for the pc.... through the usb, ahhh would be funny

Why did they put USB ports on the PS2 anyways?
for the headsets and also for usb keyboard and mouse for ps2 linux
I couldnt agree with your more gamecunesuxs, they have many devices that work well with usb. I have headsets myself for online play. It makes online seem more "Player Friendly" when it comes to games like Socom.

Some people in Japan use a USB dial up modem on the USB. The Eye Toy is a USB webcam, some Konami thinggies like the pop'n music and the beatmania controllers are USB also.
Ah the guy asked about HDD cache. Since the PS2 need the data to be sent slowly I can say that a huge HDD cache does more harm than helps. lol
some ps2s have firewire 1392 which is faster than usb 2.0 even
