Troubleshooting PS2 Slim that won't power on.Unmodded?

What are some of the things to check for on an unmodded PS2 Slim console that won't power on at all. Fuses? Connections? Power Supply?

Which fuses are checked? What should be checked first before fuses? What would the general troubleshooting procedure be?

I would greatly appreciate input. Thankyou.

I guess here are the fuses you check. I borrowed the diagram from a post above mine.

Any other suggestions?

if there are no dead fuses i have found in a rare few consoles that thye solder points on the motherboard for the power plug are VERY VERY scarce and eventually lose continuity, filling them (and do the controller ones while your at it) brings the console back perfectly, bloody cheap ass $ony!!!
