Super Duper Pooper Center Machine Thingy
Well I really have been rackin my brains, readin up and going back and forth, always getting slightly different info wherever I go. So I guess its time to switch from xbox-scene to ps2-scene for some answers.
basically I am planning to take a Slim PS2 and incorporate it into an XBOX case, no I do not mean putting it INSIDE the XBOX. I mean modding the XBOX to accept the PS2 on top and bondo the whole thing to make it look like one machine. That way Ill have the XBOX on the "bottom" and PS2 on the "top". I think the slim PS2 flip top would look nice.
My xbox is modded and I rarely use the DVD drive, everything is on my HDD.
With the PS2 (especially cuz it will be slim) I have questions about the HD I can use with it, and by what means I do use it?
Is there a max amount of space it can address? Ive heard 120GB (like the 137 on XBOX, but theres the workaround)
It has to be an external USB HD....how does it connect to the slim?
I would like to basically have the PS2 play games I have DLed to my computer, with the XBOX its FTP over the network, how does the slim do this?
I know of course the PS2 doesnt play all games from the HD, which is fine, id play those on DVD-R, in the spiffy flip top.
So I guess anyone who could help answer these basic questions before I dive into this project, so I know what to buy etc, id greatly appreciate it.
Or perhaps a HD with a Slim is too much trouble and I should just go straight from PC to DVD-R...
