Summone´s fix or rome mod
Summone´s fix or rome mod –

Hey
I´m wonder how to do summone´s fix on a v9 or a v10 ps2 console. I know that need only 560ohm resistor on the 303s for the tracking coils.
Is it better to do rome fix, how to do that. Do i need to scrap the ic blank before soldering it to a 5 volt point?
Best Regards
Stefan

Hey
Which one do you thinks is best to do =P. But summone´s fix dosen´t works so good then on v9/v10?
How should i lift the pin then, straight up. Should i use a nail or something?
If i want to do the cut track version how deep should i cut =P.

to lift the pin or cut the track is the same thing beacause is intrerupting the original circuit at 12v! to lift the pin you must have some experience, cut the track is the best way! to cut the track you must test with the multimeter to see if it stil make contact, it must take no contact beetwen the the 2 cuted parts!
If you put the summone fix it will be no diference the LA6508 sould burn!the romeo fix is the best!

Hey
Me again, On the v9 to cut the track should i cut all the way out to the dark green field. Make no connection do you mean the light green field should make no connection to the other side?
On the v10 the show in the picture i should cut a whole bit in to the green field.
Best regards
Stefan
