    Hey all,

I ordered a MI chip the other day but what i received was a modbo 760 clone...

I installed it in my v14 gh-040-52 slim and the modbo chip logo shows at the start, the pstwo boots fine and plays originals perfectly...

I can access the config menu for the chip, fast boot, etc but whatever i do i cannot get it to boot backups...

I have tried several different types of media, burn speeds etc and i have also tried the backups in an older v5-6 modded ps2 and they work perfectly.

I have triple checked my soldering, checked the board for bridges, tested continuity etc but no matter what, it won't boot backups...

    Any suggestions?

The chip needs an thick ground wire, if it is'nt there, weird things happen.
Dunno if that's the problem, but i can't think anything else right now.

Ground the wire to the copper and use fatter wire than the 30awg for gnd and 5+or 3+. make sure the wires arent touching two points
