i was wondering if a scart to vga cable would allow my ps2 to play on a pc monitor?? Most of these cables say they are useful for playing DVD players on monitors, so i would expect a ps2 to do the same. i understand that sound would be another issue but i would expect to find a way to link the R and W cables to a headphone input. Can anyone confirm this or have suggestions to it not working?

I appologise if this has previously been posted. I did search but i could not find anything!

If you have a SyncOnGreen capable monitor, and a modchip that can force VGA mode, you shouldn't have any problem, just search web for SCART and VGA pinouts, and join grounds , and Blue with Blue, Red with Red, and Green with Green, also join th 5v of SCART pin 10, with VGA pin 9, s you don't recive the "No signal" monitor message.

It worked for me. Only problem i have is when i load a PAL game using a double boot loader, such as CD-LAUNCH.

Otherwise you need to buil the cable using a lm1881.

    See you.
