For that kind of stuff you really should go into the forum named "Hardware Help, Soldering Tips, Tricks, Repair & Fixes". It is hardly to be considered 'General' PS2 info. You are more likely to find good help for your problem when you post in an area where the hardware guys are likely to come across your post.

Dunno what you mean by that, your trying to read something with an oscilloscope or what?
But on pins 1 and 2, their connected to eachother by 100n cap, nowhere else. Atleast on V12 console.
More info is floating on net, by name "scph-70000 service manual"
