pstwo laser lens

I just installed a new laser in my pstwo slim v12. It moves but im not sure if i installed it correctly because the laser doesn't turn on at all. If anyone has any information it's much appreciated.

Check if the ribbon cable for the motor is connected properly. I had the same problem, only with the laser arm motor. The disc spinned but the laser didn't move.

it's connected properly and laser moves it just doesn't come on. Disc doesn't spin either.
