best way for you to fix your problem is buy an ohm meter (it's cheap and will be useful at other times) test each fuse until you find the blown one.
Also you might want to see which one of your controllers made the fuse blow. If you keep using it you might damage the controller port in a worse way (controller stops working) and will eventually make the PS2 useless.
Thanks for your help ,
it is the multi-tap which made the fuse blow ( and the fact the kids swapped it while they were using the ps2 ) , all controllers are fine ( pfff ) .
looking in the drawings , it makes me go for fuse 7 ( 700 ma ) .
can someone tell me which type of fuse is used ( size ) ????
i simply want to have the parts ready before opening the ps2
Can some one ot the tech-team tell me the difference between an smd fuse with the marking " S7 " , and one marked with " G ".
both are v12 ps2 and the one with the " G "marking is mine .
Is there a difference ?? ( since the fuse should be 700ma ) .
And most of importance WHERE can i get a spere fuse 1608 S7 or G ??????
all info highly appreciated.
