    Hello
My PS2 Slim does not read discs anymore. I have blocked the 3 sensors so I can see the laser what it does and what happens is that it goes near the edge of the disc for about 2 seconds then just stays going up and down and never reads the discs. I went to the browser and it said reading disc.

test using an original CD, (music, for example), if still not reading, then it may be dust on the lens and CMOS, or misaligned lens.

Make your PS2 this too before you blocked your sensors? Or begins it after you blocked it??

I did unblock the sensors but it still didnt read the discs. Can it be that my laser is broken?

Maybe itīs not broken, maybe itīs worn.
You can try to set the laser with the "potti" where itīs under the laser (in the backside).
There must be 2 "pottiīs", 1 for CDīs, and one for DVDīs.

I try to find the "laser adjustment" in english, but i find always in german, so you have to search for it if you want to try it....
