PS2 SCPH-70004 + Modbo 4. Controller not working!!!

Hi there!

I am posting here because i have a problem with a modded PS2.
The model is SCPH70004 and i have placed a modbo 4 and a laser fix about 2 years ago.
I recently opened it so that i can calibrate the laser. It works fine except that there is a problem on both controllers.
On both of them the only buttons that work are the Up-Down-Left-Right and the Analog Switch!
I inspected all the solderings and resoldered everything back but nothing happened.
The backups load just fine.
I removed the modbo but the problem remains.
I measured all the 0 resistors and they measure just fine.
Can you help me on this one?

Anyone? Are there any schematics from the ps2 motherboard?

im sure there are some around... i just checked and i only have 39001...... not sure if that will help........
