Lastnight when I was playing a backup on my PS2 v9 the DVD stopped spinning all of a sudden and the PS2 started making a loud noise. I opened the flip top (Case Mod) on it to check and I the laser somehow got itself jammed in its track and I had to pop it out in order for it to work again.

When trying to play the game again, it started to make this noise, so I decided to turn it off... anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

Game was burned at 1x on a Verbatim DVD+R. Everything worked 100% before lastnight, PSX and PS2 games.

check the laserarm(the one that conects to the snakedrive) it´s usually this little arm that bring you the most noise.

Would that also cause the CD\DVD to stop spinning? This is what happened in my case and it seemed as if it was stuck somehow...
