PS2 keeps spinning disc, no data.

Hey people at PSX-scene.

I just recently installed DUO3-Ultra modchip, and it worked. But since my PS2 is a SCPH-70004(pal) i was to scared to run it with out lazer fix. So after 2 days i got the laser fix too, and disassemblyed my ps2 again and installed the laser fix. After the install, i couldnt turn on my ps2. The power button just went from red to green and then after 1 sec back to red. So i thought i ****ed up the laser fix install, and unsoldered it. And still i couldnt start my ps2, so i figured out that it wasnt screwed tight enough together to start. Then it worked, but after one game the ps2(without laser fix) the ps2 couldnt read the disc. It just keeps spinning it fast, slow, break and then over again. After a couple of spinn offs it just says no data. Nomather if its original games or backups.

My first suggestion is that the laser is broken? its a PVR-802W


Realy hope someone got a good suggestion for the problem.

Yes your laser is gone.You must have the laser-fix either SumOne or
Slim-Fix v3 or v4.NEVER THE DIOD-FIX!!!!!

Sorry to ask, but whats wrong with the diode fix?

and where can i get the two other chips you are mentioning? Bin looking for them, but they are a bit hard to find.
