Is there any symptoms in this? Or you just think it's too hot?

Dont cover the fan with anything, keep out of hot places etc. the basic things.

If the PS2 is placed in proper place, and there's still the problem, what i can think of without knowing the whole story, u could bypass the thermistor-circuit, so it would be adjustable manually to speed what you like, with potentiometer/resistors. I dont know what's the maximum voltage of the fan, but connect it to somewhere in mainboard, somewhere before the thermistor-circuit. Modchip installation pics can show some points.
