Well gonna give it a try.
The V10 system
On memory card: myPS2 V1.1
And on HD, HDLoader, uLaunchELF 3.41p, HDL Dump Server 0.8.3 in the myPS2 partition.
Chip DUO2 on Final Ice.
TOTALL SUCESS !!
WORKS 100%
I boots tru the memory card to dev-1 mode.
I go in to myPS2 and loads HDLoader.... games runs just fine.
Have not tried to plug in a usb device
But hey, the network is runnig fine !!

Hope this gives some hope to the ps2 users whit dead LA and dont what to do the soldering.. :-D
good work mate replaceing the LA chip is e-z with the wright gear. New LA shuld be $1 in QUT.100+ or about $10 for one.Originally Posted by gigge
I have tested on 2 PlayStations(different versions) the same thing but with Matrix Infinity but 100% no success. It comes to HDL Splash Screen and it hangs there, I have tried with 0.7c with the option to disable disc seek and everything else but with no success.
Crans, where you getting the LA chip in quantity for $1 each? I'd like to buy a bunch. Thanks
on V9 and V10 you need a laser "skull" with the slide arm installed to touch the limit switch when you turn the PS2 on. If it doesn't have something hit that switch the drive will report to HDLoader that it's checking for a disc even if it has given up already. Then HDL keeps waiting for the drive to say "there's no disc on the drive" but it will never happen. Put a laser skull with the parts, disconnect the burnt part of the LA chip (lift the pin used for romeo mod and leave unconnected) then the slide motor will work even if the LA is blown. That should fix your problem with HDL on V9/V10
Same thing with V3, It worked yesterday when I connected the door motor.
