Sory for my bad english!
please post more info like do you have a modchip or is that Games original or backup games .etc
i have no modchip and i play orginal games, whats the problem, maybe the rgb?
someone help!!?? does enybodey knows the problem?
this happens with all games?
tried some CD or DVD of music or video to see if the same happens?
yes this happens with all games :/
the laser is working everthyng is working :/ but not the games or dvd - cd

I have a ps2 slim here; no modchip, using original discs without a softmod. A lot of people say that it's a laser problem on these occasions but I don't believe that to be the issue because I can remove all three ribbons to the laser and remove the whole bit and it does the same. Sometimes the fan fires up, sometimes it doesn't. The laser (when properly connected) comes forward and immediately after it goes all the way back the system crashes and the power button flashes Red/Green. Board cleaned and inspected. I've removed hardware components one by one in testing with the same result every time. 7-8 seconds in it shows the boot up on the screen then just stops. Discs spin, laser lights but nothing other than described. As for the motherboard being classified as junk I don't believe it would even attempt at booting in that situation. Checked all necessary points with a multimeter as well so I wouldn't think I would have a problem there either. Checked ribbon cables, replaced them, removed the battery, waited a half hour and placed it back in, same result. I'm not asking for assistance, just stating the common remedies have failed me. Readjusting the laser doesn't seem like an accurate approach either.
The problem by my is thet the bga chip is dead on the motherboard.
It can be repaired!
