errr, if the laser have trouble moving back and forward, is it bad for my laser lens??

because its only happen only once in a day, and usualy only happen when the room temprature is very hot or very cold.
if its not bad for my PS2, then i wont fix it :P
but if it bad for my PS2, then i'll try to open my PS2.

    btw, my problem is fixed,
before i turn on the PS2, i cover my PS2 in blanket.
