The lights on the ps2 turn on showing its on but nothing appears on the screen and my drive doesn't appear to turn on. When I press the reset button the light goes green showing its on. I tried changing video cable but still same problem. any help would be great thanks
It could very well just be your power/reset cable is not working? They aren't very expensive or you could just look on Ebay for a PS2 same version as yours that needs repair or is cheap enough for parts.
Does your drive tray not open then?

the lights work on the rest, eject buttons and the fan works. Everything else doesn;t seem to have power going to it. Nothing appears on screen. I'm afraid that it might be a fuse blown. but if it is then why would the lights on the eject and rest button work. The drive doesn;t do anything.
