pot tweaking...

i have an unmodded ps2 that reads games sometimes. i am going to try and pot tweak it to get it to play my games more often. I have three questions: Where is the pot, Which way do i turn it, and what are some other advantages of tweaking the pot. thanks in advance.

maybe your laser lense is just dirty, try cleaning it with a q-tip
