Well if you didn't break anything taking it out then probably the micro switches one or both are not closing or are broken

Is how all good gaming systems came to beTHX for the quick reply.... the micro switches work now checked them.
I came here searching for a solution. I have the exact same problem.
Does the motor have somekind of fuse?
Yes PS2 have fuses for that but is different for each model
did you check the switch's yet?
