    What a great forum! Thanks!

I'm a noob at installing and I have a question about installing the infinity chip on a V1 PS2 board. I followed the diagram at www.mod-chip.com/images/Matrix_Infinity/dia-infinity-v1n.jpg, but I'm confused about the location of solder points for sx and y. The caption says, "Bottom side". Is that the bottom of the main board. If so, don't I have to desolder the four large pins to get that board off?

Any help, especially with procedures, diagrams/pictures would be appreciated.

you can take off the board by pulling it.
