Hi all, I have a replacement case for the PS2 that includes the top spindle as part of the case. When I put the cover on, the drive works but makes some very unpleasant noises.

The original drive cover, naturally, doesn't have this problem.

Is this a common problem with the chinese replacement cases? If so, is it fixable, or do I need to buy another, or what?
