I just replaced the motherboard for my ver4 ps2. And it will boot up, the fan turns on, the tray will open/close, but I get no video and no audio. Its not even a black screen because my TV just says "detecting" like there is nothing even connected to that source. Help please

If you've still got your standard AV cables, hook them up and see if you get picture and sound. You probably are going to have to change your system setting to output component video instead of RGB. You also probably need to turn on your digital audio output to get your sound. I had similar issues the first time I hooked my PS2 up to my plasma TV and home theater system and it took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on

well now I have a new problem. The system works but the disk drive doesn't spin the disk... it jerks the disk a tiny bit at first like its gunna start spinning but then it just stops and never starts again.
